WOYWW? 145

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - week 145

Today I was working on soldering some postage stamps under squares of glass. One side has beveled glass....doesn't this fish look like it's in an aquarium?
Here is the flip side. This side has plain, smooth glass.
I have such a large stash of postage stamps, and some of them are so beautiful - why not wear them?! I love the monkey stamp....and the mushrooms too!
Here I am in the studio....slouched over, hair pulled up, fleece on!
Head on over to Julia Dunnit's "Stamping Ground" to see what other's are working on today!

  1. Absolutely love you stamp pendants. I also really like your very grown up work space with proper big girl tools. Always such fun to see the amazing projects you are working on.

  2. Your jewellery pieces are absolutely stunning. What a great idea for using postage stamps, I have some lovely ones - only one problem - I can't solder! Great workspace you have. I enjoyed my snoop. Regards, Anne #47

  3. Oh Jennifer, your soldiered pieces are awesome! Aren't you the Jennifer from the paper doll group and mom named Norma (fairy yellow bird)? It's funny how we connect up in other groups.
pop on over for a visit if you get a chance.

  9. Great stuff Jennifer - am delighted to see you use all that difficult equipment and a terracotta saucer..makes a mortal feel like she has the beginnings of a studio!! The pendants are fab, what a great idea, particularly for people looking for a souvenir of a specific country or such..a postage stamp is more than a picture isn't it - it hints at travel and the romance of new places...
