WOYWW? #201

What's On Your Work Desk? Wednesday - #201

Last week it was square glass tiles....this week it's glass circles!  I'm not sure why that owl tag was left front and centre there, but I was working on that yesterday for "Tag Tuesday".  Believe it or not, these photo's were taken this morning, but it was SO RAINY and dark it looks like the photo's were taken at night!  The last photo shows what they'll look like when they're finished (this is an instagram photo from "birdonawireart" - (a local store called "Bird on a Wire Creations" on Main Street, Vancouver)).

Head on over to Stamping Ground to sneak a peek into other people's Wednesday's work desks!

Here's a snapshot of some Scrabble Tiles, paired up for earrings. This batch has wet resin on them. Tomorrow I'll be turning them into earrings at Bird On a Wire from 11am to 4pm!

WOYWW? Week 177

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - week 177! I haven't participated in Julia Dunnit's weekly blog hop in a while! Here is my work desk today. I have to say.....this is not a accurate representation of my work space! I'm taking these photo's at the beginning of my day....it will get MUCH messier as the day wears on! See the cute little pumpkin? My daughter went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday and that was her pick!
I have a new favourite coffee mug:
This Saturday, I'll be at a local store: "Bird on a Wire", working in the window! I've decided to work on greeting cards and Scrabble Tile earrings and necklaces...
...so today I'm prepping for Saturday.
It all starts by reaching into my LARGE jar of Scrabble Tiles, and drilling a hole through them.
Organizing them...
...into pairs.
Stacking them up, ready to be glued down.
Thought I'd work on some key chains (on recycled Rummikub tiles), while I'm at it!
Here's the store window:
We set up this small display yesterday!
My mom is helping me prep the cards for Saturday....she posted her work desk *here* (#146)

More Greeting Cards

I've really been in the card-making mood these days. I go through phases....

Here's some Mother's Day cards:
I just added some to "Bird on a Wire Creations"

The "Private View" was lots of fun.....don't ask me why I'm showing you the food! Fruit is finally starting to taste great again, I guess that's why?!

Bird On A Wire Creations, Vancouver, B.C.

Bird On a Wire Creations is a local store here in Vancouver (2535 Main Street, near Broadway). It's a wonderful store that supports handmade and independent design from British Columbia. All designers are from a 100 mile radius of Vancouver.

Each month there are two "featured artists", and I'm thrilled to be one of the artists featured for the month of April!

On the first Thursday of the month (tomorrow), there is a "private view", (or small party) and wine & snacks are served between 7pm - 9:30pm. If you're in the neighbourhood - drop by to say hi!!!

All of my wares are displayed on that round table in front of the counter:
