Mosaic Monday - Market Booths

The Winter craft markets have officially started, so today's Mosaic Monday theme is: Market Booths. Yesterday was my first Christmas fair of the year - just the beginning of a bunch of upcoming shows (found here).  Links to these booth images can be found through my Pinterest board "Displays 1" and "Displays 2".

Here's a little mini mosaic of my table. It's always changing..........and will change multiple times throughout this short Christmas fair season too!

Summer Markets Have Begun

It's been busy around these parts!  The weather's improving and the outdoor shows have begun!  Here's my booth at the Ladner Village Market last Sunday:

Here's my booth set up at the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire (part of the mini Got Craft? group).  I had just bought that vintage 3-tiered lamp there on the left - I LOVE it!

My kids, taking a little break at Sports Day.  They're growing up fast!

My hubby and I dropped the kids of at "Oma's and Tante's" over the Victoria Day long weekend and had a fun weekend away on our scooters!

I started selling my wares at a store attached to the Vancouver Public Library's main branch downtown, called Book'mark.

Make It! - Spring Craft Fair

This weekend I was at the "Make It!" fair.  Here's some pic's of my table....it's hard to fit everything into a 6 foot space!

First Market: Portobello West

Last weekend I did my first market of the year: Portobello West! Here's some snapshots of my table.....always changing! It will be interesting to compare photo's of my last show of the year to this batch here. I always see things that need changing! This is just the beginning of show season.....I'll update my calendar soon!

End of the Craft Fairs

Wow - what a crazy whirlwind this past month has been! Craft fair craziness!! Yesterday was my last fair of the year - hip hip hooray, time to celebrate! Here's some snapshots from the past few weeks...

Nearing the End of Summer

It's almost the end of Summer break for the kids and things are winding down. It's been a fun and busy time around here! I've been super busy with Summer markets, and the kids have been busy doing the usual Summer things (like swimming lessons, bike/scooter riding, park play, Summer fair etc.).

Here's some snapshots of some of the things I've been making for the markets.

I have some new items, which include these teeny-tiny smashed bottle cap earrings, and brass necklaces.

I'm loving the vintage look of the brass.

We were scooter-riding around English Bay and stopped for a bit at the beach.

I just have a few more markets left this summer - one of them is this Sunday on Commercial Drive - "Artful Sundays".

Here's some photo's of my booth from an earlier date this year. There was a cancellation for this Sunday (the last market date of the year), so I was able to do one more date! If you're in Vancouver, and in the neighbourhood, it's in Napier Greenway (Napier St. @ Commercial Dr.), from 12pm to 5pm.

School starts Tuesday - woo-hoo!!!!

Weekend Fairs

This is my last multi-day craft fair weekend! Tonight, tomorrow and Sunday I'll be at the Coquitlam Christmas Craft Sale, and on Saturday (I split myself in two) I'll be in North Vancouver, at the Delbrook show. I've been working hard, staying up late every night making new stock for these shows!
