WOYWW? 160

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday, week 160. Today I've been working on making recycled glass tile necklaces. My daughter put that "Rainbow Magic" book there before she left for school for me to repair.
I'm making a double batch, so that I can restock a local store, and also have stock for this weekend's Craft Market out in Steveston for Canada Day! I couldn't get my regular lens on my camera working this morning, so I had to use my bigger lens - which meant I had to stand waaaaay over on the other side of the room so that the camera could actually focus!
My trusty mod podge:
A little pile of glass pieces waiting their turn to be transformed!
Feel like having a little peek into other work spaces? Head on over to Julia Dunnit's blog, "Stamping Ground" for a list of participating people.

WOYWW? 159

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - week 159. Julia Dunnit's blog "Stamping Ground" is hosting it's weekly blog hop, to view other peoples work desks from around the world! Today I've been working on a new bunting flag for my outdoor tent. My display needs a facelift, and new bunting flags are on the top of my list. I usually do have flags, but they're all pink and green pastels....I just felt like I needed a new burst of colour! I've also been busy making some new greeting cards:

Snapshots from the Royal City Farmers Market

Yesterday was my first date with the Royal City Farmers Market in New Westminster! I had a fun time and met tons of great people. I took these photo's at the end of the market day: Yum - I bought these fresh, local tomatoes and strawberries: Here's my table: I also bought some delicious goods from Sweet Thea (try the coconut lime tart!!), some blackberry jam from Anne's Gallery, some candied ginger from Injiver Ginger Crack Company, and lovely soap from Cheryl at Scentimental Creations! I'm looking forward to the other markets there throughout the summer! (see sidebar for info.)

WOYWW? week 158

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - week 158. The weeks are just flying by! It feels like every time I look up, it's time for Julia Dunnit's blog hop over at her blog: "Stamping Ground". Head on over to see what a bunch of creative people are up to this Wednesday! I'm working on several things today, including this atc: I'm making it for Cindy at the Crafty Frugalista! I'm also working on these magnets: I make them out of recycled ceramic 2 inch tiles. I'm always working on a new batch of "something" to resin. There's never not a time when I don't have some sort of assembly line going on! Today it's piles of key chains made out of recycled mahjong tiles. One last thing on my plate for today: greeting cards! So much to do, not enough hours!

WOYWW 157

What's On Your WorkDesk? Wednesday - week 157. Every Wednesday Julia Dunnit hosts a weekly blog hop into people's work spaces at her blog: "Stamping Ground". Today I'm working on Scrabble Tiles - lots and lots of them! I'm working on some custom orders, and some store requests, and there's some upcoming shows too! The piles on the left are for cuff links, and the piles on the right are for earrings. Here's a photo of some finished cuff links from the last show I was at. This was my "mens" section. Most of my stuff is very flowery and delicate, but I get requests for mens items all the time. Today I'm also working on some goodie bags for my daughters birthday party on Friday! Her real birthday is tomorrow, and she's just sooooo excited to be turning 6. She told me this morning that tomorrow is going to be the best day of her life because she'll be SIX years old! lol

Tag Tuesday :: "Bunting"

There's a fun blog called "Tag Tuesday", where they post a theme for each week (on Tuesday's), and you make a tag using that theme. Last week's theme was "Bunting", and I made this:
