I bought a bag of roasted cocoa nibs, which are pure little chunks of cocoa beans that have been roasted. They're very interesting tasting....kind of bitter, but nutty too. She recommends sprinkling them on plain yogurt and honey....you know what my breakfast will be tomorrow!

Handmade Local Chocolates
Today I was at the West End Farmer's Market, and my neighbour was "Take a Fancy Chocolates and Sweets". She makes her own chocolate from scratch in her own kitchen! She buys fair trade organic cocoa beans, roasts them, then grinds them into cocoa liquor (mmmmmmm - reminds me of the white chocolate liquor that I have in my liquor cabinet!). Then finally, she makes "fine and fancy" chocolates!
