Mosaic Monday - Market Booths

The Winter craft markets have officially started, so today's Mosaic Monday theme is: Market Booths. Yesterday was my first Christmas fair of the year - just the beginning of a bunch of upcoming shows (found here).  Links to these booth images can be found through my Pinterest board "Displays 1" and "Displays 2".

Here's a little mini mosaic of my table. It's always changing..........and will change multiple times throughout this short Christmas fair season too!

Working on Bottle Cap Magnets Today

This was on the agenda for today: Bottle Cap magnets!! I plan on selling them in sets of 3 in my etsy shop.....hopefully that will happen later tonight, after the kid-o's are in bed!

Mosaic Monday - Vintage Witches and Halloween Dress-Up

It's Mosaic Monday and Halloween week = Dress Up themes!

All links to these images can be found on my Pinterest "Halloween" board.

New Cards

Here's some new cards:

I've had many, many requests to update my online shop.....and I've been promising for months now......tonight it's finally happened.....I've added a few cards to my etsy shop!!  I'll just keep adding and adding over the next little while to fill the shop up!

Mosaic Monday - Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

It was a turkey feast around these parts!

My son has decided that he wants to learn how to cook "so that when he's older, if he doesn't have a girlfriend to cook for him, he won't starve"!! Don't worry - I straightened him out on that one! He made this sweet potato/peaches/brown sugar/mini marshmallow dish. He liked it.

(links to the mosaic photos can be found in my "Christmas" folder on Pinterest).

Mosaic Monday - Studio Love

Wow.....I can't believe the ENTIRE Summer came and went without popping in and blogging! It was a great summer. Great weather, great festivals, great family fun....but busy, busy, busy!! Autumn has arrived, along with dropping acorns, colourful leaves...and those hang-y silk worms dangling from the trees!

I very recently rented a studio space outside of my home. I can't show any photo's yet, because it's in shambles with paint supplies and Ikea boxes everywhere. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest though, admiring other people's studios....so "Studio Love" is the theme of my Mosaic Monday today! The links to the studios above can be found on my Pinterest board: Studio.

Summer Markets Have Begun

It's been busy around these parts!  The weather's improving and the outdoor shows have begun!  Here's my booth at the Ladner Village Market last Sunday:

Here's my booth set up at the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire (part of the mini Got Craft? group).  I had just bought that vintage 3-tiered lamp there on the left - I LOVE it!

My kids, taking a little break at Sports Day.  They're growing up fast!

My hubby and I dropped the kids of at "Oma's and Tante's" over the Victoria Day long weekend and had a fun weekend away on our scooters!

A few of the things I've been working on.  Do you instagram?  These photo's are from my instagram account (RavensRest is my instagram name).

I started selling my wares at a store attached to the Vancouver Public Library's main branch downtown, called Book'mark.

Work in progress:

This is what it looks like when I pack up at the end of the day:

A little snapshot of my table - Scrabble Tile cuff links and glass necklaces:

I've been promising people that I'd update my "upcoming shows"....... I'm just about to do that now!

Hope everyone's getting out and enjoying a little bit of good weather!

Wedding Favour Magnets - Sentimental Love

I had a custom order request for some "Sentimental Love" themed magnets to be given out as wedding favours.....here they are!

Dropping these off at "Bird on a Wire Creations" today.

Make It! - Spring Craft Fair

This weekend I was at the "Make It!" fair.  Here's some pic's of my table....it's hard to fit everything into a 6 foot space!

WOYWW? #201

What's On Your Work Desk? Wednesday - #201

Last week it was square glass tiles....this week it's glass circles!  I'm not sure why that owl tag was left front and centre there, but I was working on that yesterday for "Tag Tuesday".  Believe it or not, these photo's were taken this morning, but it was SO RAINY and dark it looks like the photo's were taken at night!  The last photo shows what they'll look like when they're finished (this is an instagram photo from "birdonawireart" - (a local store called "Bird on a Wire Creations" on Main Street, Vancouver)).

Head on over to Stamping Ground to sneak a peek into other people's Wednesday's work desks!

Tag Tuesday - "Letter N"

Here is a tag I made for "Tag Tuesday".  This weeks theme was "The Letter N".  N is for.....Nest!

Check out some other fun tags over at the Tag Tuesday blog!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday

I'm jumping on board with Julia Dunnit's weekly bog-hop. Pop on over to her blog to see a full list of the people participating in this weeks "What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday".

I've been starting to prep for all of the upcoming Spring shows, and today it's all about these 1 inch square glass tiles. This is the beginning of a big batch of necklaces. Not so much colour or brightness on my Wednesday work desk today.....but these little guys will get colour added to them soon enough!

(ha! I just noticed the lego figurine sitting there!)

First Market: Portobello West

Last weekend I did my first market of the year: Portobello West! Here's some snapshots of my table.....always changing! It will be interesting to compare photo's of my last show of the year to this batch here. I always see things that need changing! This is just the beginning of show season.....I'll update my calendar soon!

Drawing Challenge: Moon

Last week I joined in on a drawing challenge group that my mom loves to bits. There is a different host and theme each time around, and last week it was Patrice who chose the theme "moon". This little gal is my contribution to the moon theme - I haven't made an artdoll in ages!!!

Head on over to Patrice's blog for a list of players who joined in on this challenge. From there you'll be able to view all of the art from the different players.
