Mosaic Monday - Christmas Decorating with Vintage Glass Balls

Mosaic Monday - Christmas Decorating with Vintage Glass Balls.

Wow!  What a busy craft market season I've had!  I've had NO time to check in.....it's all over now (except for one more market date on Dec. 21st out at the New Westminster Quay).  Now it's time to have some holiday cheer with my family (and get the house in order - you should see the state it's in after all the craft market craziness!!!).  This weekend we'll get our tree and decorate it with my bajillion  vintage Christmas ornaments.
Links to these photo's can be found on my pinterest "Christmas" board.

End of the Craft Fairs

Wow - what a crazy whirlwind this past month has been! Craft fair craziness!! Yesterday was my last fair of the year - hip hip hooray, time to celebrate! Here's some snapshots from the past few weeks...
My table at "Got Craft?"
These were for sale a few tables down from me at "Got Craft?"
Every spare moment was spent making new stock! Like bottle cap magnets....
Recycled glass tile pendants (these were in the beginning stages)....
More recycled glass pendants.
We drove to snowy Edmonton to do a show - "Make It!". Here's my hubby with his "Movember" moustache - too funny!
My table in Edmonton.
The show was at the Enjoy Centre - it was an AWESOME venue!!!
Here's my shrunken down display at "Bloom" in Fort Langley.

A Weekend "Off" from Craft Fairs

This weekend was my first weekend "off" (from craft fairs) in a long time! Which meant I was able to go to my friend Jill Pilon's Annual Holiday Studio Sale!
Cathy Stonehouse, Sylvia Oates, Helen Spaxman, Robbie Vergaa, Laura Skuse and Milisa Gardy were also showing their art.
An amazing collection!
I left with this piece:
Jill is hosting a Mixed Media Techniques workshop in January - my spot's reserved - can't wait! If you are in Vancouver, and would like to see more of Jill's work, she just dropped off some work at the Hambleton Gallery.
Today we had a great time picking out our tree. It was actually much harder than I thought it would be for us to all agree. Everyone had their own opinion......this was our final decision:
Our front railing was covered with frozen spider webs - they were beautiful!

Christmas Cards

Today I popped into "Bird on a Wire Creations", a local store here in Vancouver to drop off some fresh stock for the Christmas season, including some Christmas cards!

Here's a snapshot of part of my table from the weekend fair at St. Thomas Aquinas (the Octopus "A" sold to a very happy "A" named woman!)
Now I'm getting ready for my next fair: Burnaby Arts Council's 4 day fair, starting this Thursday!

Today was the last fair day of the year! Now it's time to go visit Santa, go to the German Christmas Market, Ride the Christmas Train in Stanley Park, get a Christmas Tree.......

Here's a few photo's from the One of a Kind Show. This was my first ever large trade show, and it was a great experience! I'm just so, so, so tired!

Deck The Halls

Tomorrow (and Sunday) I'll be at the "Deck The Halls" craft fair at Heritage Hall, on Main Street (Vancouver). It's a great building, a great location, and I've really been looking forward to this fair. It will be my first time there!

This is my life:

drilling, drilling, resin, resin......

gluing, gluing...

packaging, packaging......

P.S. - I just remembered that I haven't done the November draw!!! I'll draw the winning name tomorrow, and post a new December giveaway!! Stay tuned.......

Fair Photo's

Another weekend of fairs come and gone. whew!

Here's part of my table at Dunbar this Saturday:

I was happy to see that my neighbour was "trashbags"! Jaymie makes these super-awesome zippered bags out of used candy/coffee/noodle/etc. bags!

She had hoards of people at her table all day long. I should have taken a photo at the start of the day!

One of my favourites:

On Sunday I was out at "St. Thomas More", and this year traded with my fellow crafter friend Dawn of "Revamp Vintage".

Isn't her packaging FABULOUS!!

The earrings I got were on one of these cat cards - cool eh?!
